With 4K HD over Coax cameras you are no longer restricted to using IP camera systems to get amazing detail. CCTV Camera World’s new 4K HDCVI cameras allow for the best image quality security cameras have to offer without changing existing coax wiring. This 8MP Bullet Camera can transmit 4K video up to 2200ft when used with RG59U coax cabling from a roll that is good quality, i.e. the video conductor is RG59U 20awg solid copper wire. Note that economical pre-made siamese wire that is thiner than RG59U will not work with 4K HD over Coax Cameras. To decode the video signal from this 4K surveillance camera, our 4K HDCVI DVRs are required; you cannot take a CVI camera and connect it straight to a monitor or an older recorder.
In addition to 4K resolution video capture, this camera features Starlight technology that allows the camera to see in color in very low light. Starlight technology adjusts the digital shutter speed dynamically when the camera senses low light conditions, providing color night vision. In darkness the camera will switch to black & white mode assisted by its on-board infrared for night vision recording.
The camera’s a 8MP sensor and 3.6mm fixed lens captures a 87 degree angle of view for recognizing a face up to 50ft away, like the example in our security camera guide. The Ultra HD 4K video recording will give you twice the clarity of 2K 4MP security cameras, giving digital zoom the power to magnify recorded or live video with less pixelation.
The camera also includes true Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to decrease glare in situations where there is different lighting in the foreground and background. The camera has two super-IR LEDs for infrared night vision up to 130ft when viewing at night. Remember facial detail is up to 50ft in good lighting conditions. With a weatherproof rating of IP67 and metal design, the camera can be mounted almost anywhere without worry.
