This 8 Channel PoE NVR from Avalonix is a professional grade network camera recorder that supports a variety of third-party security cameras such as Axis, and Hikvision. The 8 built-in PoE+ ports make setup of your system easy by using user-friendly plug-and play technology with compatible cameras for automatic camera detection and configuration without needing computer networking knowledge. With just a single network cable, you can power the camera while sending video and audio data back to the NVR. Plug and play technology works with select Pro Series security cameras by Avalonix and some 3rd party cameras such as Hikvision. Among the many NVR models we offer, we recommend our Pro Series NVRs when needing a recorder with ONVIF support for use with cameras purchased from other vendors. With the 8 camera Pro Series NVR and its dual-core processor, you can use network security cameras up to 8mp or 4K in resolution. Having the capability to support two 6TB hard drives, this 8 channel NVR has a total recording capacity of 12TB. If one hard drive isn’t enough, you can simply add another. If you’d like to only purchase one hard drive, you can enable specific recording settings that will follow allow your security cameras to follow a schedule or only activate due to motion. In addition, with compatible cameras this NVR supports video analytics events (VCA) such as tripwire to provide precise video event detection compared to video based motion detection. All these functions can be configured directly through the NVR using a mouse and monitor, or over the internet if you happen to be away from your device.
Besides video streaming, this NVR offers HDMI and VGA video output connections that can be played simultaneously on different monitors. The HDMI output supports up to one 4K monitor, while the VGA supports up to 1080P. Feel safe knowing backing up recorded video is made easy by simply plugging in a USB flash drive and downloading a file. It is also possible to view and download video over your local network or internet using our CMS software for Windows and Mac. With a Linux operating system, our standalone NVRs remain virus-free, and we provide firmware updates to remain secure for the future.
