64 Channel 4K NVR

This Enterprise Class 64 Camera NVR for recording IP cameras up to 12MP resolution, is an economical yet very powerful 64 channel NVR. It contains a powerful Quad Core CPU, and has the highest encoding bit rate at the time this description was written for a standalone 64 camera NVR. It will support any camera up to 12MP (even in real-time if the camera supports it), and provides all the features one could ask for, including motion activated recording, easy video playback and download, remote viewing from a computer or mobile device, and Enterprise level features such as disk mirroring, Fisheye Camera Dewarp, and Smart Detection for video analytics.

Recording Capability

The powerful Quad-Core processor inside provides a recording bandwidth of 320MBps. It features the latest H.265 and H.265+ video encoding algorithms to provide up to 70% in bandwidth savings over H.264. Combined with its 320Mbps encoding power, that means you can record pretty much any resolution IP camera from CCTV Camera World in real-time 30fps per camera. That’s true even for 4K security cameras that stream 4K video at 30fps in H.265. Of course, it still offers H.264 encoding for use with older IP cameras that may still utilize H.264 video streaming.

Storage Capacity

This is a 2U Rackmount case that has all the bells and whistles that even a PC based NVR cannot provide. It allows for up to 8 internal SATA DVR hard drives up to 10TB each, for a total of 80TB storage capacity. It also features enterprise grade hard drive redundancy utilizing RAID 0/1/5/10 the user can set to safeguard against data loss by disk mirroring, striping, or both. If you don’t need RAID, you can choose to record video in JBOD mode where each drive is written to once it is filled, or span across drive groups.

Video Backup

Mission critical live backups are a basic ability of all of our NVRs by allowing live backups using the FTP upload function to backup to a NAS where files can later be played back using our video player software for the computer. Live backups can also be done by streaming video from one NVR to another NVR to have an exact copy of video. Backup of short video segments to provide video evidence to law enforcement is easy and can be done by exporting video directly from the NVR to a USB flash drive connected to the unit, or over the internet or LAN to a computer using our client software for Windows and Mac.

Motion Detection

Motion alerts can be passed to the NVR by guaranteed compatible IP cameras from CCTV Camera World or compatible ONVIF cameras so you can record on motion, or record all the time with a motion log. You can also connect this 4K NVR to sensors using its alarm input connections, and attach devices like motion sensors, door sensors, PA speakers, sirens and strobe lights. It comes equipped with 16 alarm input connections and 6 relay outputs. You most likely will not need all of them, but its good to know they are available. Either with the use of video based or sensor based motion detection, it is easy to set up motion-activated recording and receive motion alerts via email. You can even receive Push Alerts to your Smartphone for motion or alarm events without any monthly charges

Smart Detection

Our professional line of NVRs offer capture of video analytics provided by certain camera models. If available on the camera, it provides finer video detection methods such as Tripwire, Intrusion, Abandoned/Missing Object Detection, Scene Change, Face Detection, People Counting, and Heat Map capabilities.

Remote Viewing

This NVR also offers remote access through its built-in web server that you can log on to using a web browser, mobile device, or the included Free Central Monitoring Software for the PC and Mac. After little configuration you can receive up-to-date alerts based off of video based motion detection, optional alarm triggers, or video loss. We also include FREE iPhone iPad and Android Apps so your security camera system is accessible from anywhere in the world.
