This 1080p dome security camera features the newest technologies in security cameras, i.e. HD video over coax transmission, and manual zoom lens in a small camera.
Please note this camera must be used with one of our HD DVR so that the HD video signal can be displayed and recorded, and for the zoom function to work. HDCVI is a new form of security video that allows resolutions like1080P to be transmitted over regular RG59U coax, which allows cost minimization by avoiding the need to replace standard CCTV cabling to transition to HD security cameras.
The camera is IP67 rated, meaning it is weather proof and suitable for use outdoors. You don’t have to worry about mounting it underneath an eaves; it is rugged enough to be mounted anywhere. The 2.7-13.5mm lens provides greater than 100 degree angle of view when set at 2.7mm, and a 30 degree view at 13.5mm. It has 24 Super IR LEDs that help the camera see up to 130ft in darkness.
